When you club

I know alot of us DGNers go to a night club of some sort, weather its CC, Necto, Mephisto's or Luna.

That being said,

When you go to you dress to impress or dress for comfort? I know for me its comfort becuase i usually am dancing the whole night, but for a wlot of people i look at them and wonder how the hell they can wear certain things and expect to dance.

I dress my mood. If I'm angry and feeling more punk, it's usually a tight skirt, my patent flat boots, and some kind of t-shirt or net shirt.

If I'm feeling sexy, I'll take out the corset & some kind of full skirt.

A very large majority of the time, however, what I wear is actually determined by what I want to do with my feet. I don't have any high heel boots, as I can't walk in them anymore. But if my main aim that night is dancing, I'll wear something based around my most dance-inable shoes/boots. If I'm feeling like really doing up the outfit and don't care if I'm just standing around talking all night, I'll go with less comfy, but more stylish footwear.

I have tried on one pair of platform, high-heel Demonia boots, and was amazed at how comfortable I actually did find them. I think I could actually see myself buying a pair and wearing them to the club someday. That will open up yet another fashion avenue for me. :grin

I'm actually getting bummed now that the weather is getting warmer, and CC is going to turn into an oven again. I just got my first corset this past winter, and it opened up an incredible new style for me. Come hot weather, that won't really be feasible. Maybe if I can afford an underbust, I might give it a try. But that'd probably be too hot, too.

its easy being male. we dont hace to wear corsetry to be sexy.

just a welsh accent and comfy black clothing and heawge boots ala HW @ CC

I dress for comfort AND sexy! For some reason, my hottest clothes are often my most comfortable...

And if I had a welsh accent, I bet I could get away with wearing nothing at all...

oh wait...

It depends on who is going to be there. :wink

the amount of "women" who asked me if i got a lot of attention due to my accent was ridiculous.

in return for the offers i had due to the accent was NONE!

yes NONE!!

kind of amusing somewhat

i want to buy thigh highs to go to the club in

i always dress for comfort. it really depends on my mood over all but in the end i am always just dressed comfortably. i don't care how i look at a club or anywhere else. and i don't care what people think about how i look either. most of the time i am wearing black pants or jeans and a shirt that goes with black pants or some sort of tee-shirt with my jeans. and either my chunky heels or my flat black and flame shoes.

I wear whatever I'm in the mood to wear. If it looks awesome on me, fine. If not, get over it.

Yes.

Haahaa. TLS always tells me I need to wear my boots or get a new pair of boots, because I am always wearing my Vans. They are so much more comfortable when dancing. I always dress for comfort. T-shirt and a pair of pants. :)

First off, what Marc said. And also, what Camille said.

Me, All comfort. I can care less about what think of me.

When I go to Luna I go in full garb. When I go to I-Rock I go to work, and in full garb (as I go in full garb everywhere) but I take off the coat and sometimes the hat as they can get in the way of my work.

Honestly? It depends on how much I eat that day. All my real cool clothes are a bit tight so if I pig out and plan to drink a bunch, I wear normal I have to go to work in a office or in a yard clothes (because all I own is black anyway)

But if I feel skinny oh so skinny I try to show off my legs ect.

Impressive Comfort is what I am after...

I dress because I will get arrested if I don't.

I dress to express.

And if it's vinyl, prepare to be licked. "Heeellooooo nurse!"

What Brenda said. =3

I'll wear whatever sounds good at the time, but most of the time..... since I rarely enjoy showing off my legs, I'm wearing pants, my boots and a form-fitting shirt. I've only worn my corset to City Club ONCE, and that wasnt either for comfort OR to impress, honestly. My sides huuuuuuuuuuuuuurrt after that.

Now, Mephisto's, I've worn my corset there once and it wasnt a problem.

But for the most part, I dress for mainly comfort. And if "comfortable" looks "impressive" then W00t!! If not....... tough shit. My clothing, not yours. =3

this past weekend at tech fest was the last time i dressed for comfort in ages--

i ALWAYS dress to impress. naturally i would rather wear my more comfortable cute things in most situations, but even if i just have to throw something together in five minutes, its hott ;)

Usually what i dress in is concidered hot, although i dont see it... i guess people think i look good shirtless.
