a couple by the dixie chix. it is not that i don't *like* them, i am just not a fan of that type of music but i happen to like 2 songs by them.

the reason by hoobastank. i think that is what they are called? i never heard anything else by them but i assume i might not like it except for that song

wanted dead or alive by bon jovi. otherwise i really really don't like bon jovi at ALL. not at all. just that song and i have never figured out why!

there are a lot of bands i never heard more than one song by such as jesus jones (right here, right now), a-ha (take on me), big country (big country), big audio dynamite (rush), crowded house (don't dream it's over), wang chung (dance hall days), ub40 (red red wine), toadies (possum kingdom), fuel (shimmer), sponge (plowed), taco (puttin on the ritz/remake though i know), three doors down (kryptonite), til tuesday (voices carry), school of fish (three strange days), the softies (these sad times), ned's atomic dustbin (grey cell green), living colour (cult of personality)... i could go on and on with this and start naming tons of "one hit wonders" i liked over the years. there are so many bands i hear *a* song by and that is it so i never know if i like the band or just that song.

Just to clarify, looking for songs you RELUCTANTLY like because they're done by a group/artist you ordinarily avoid PURPOSEFULLY because you dislike them for some reason.

For instance, I DESPISE Madonna. Reasons have to do with the change in what is now valued in a female artist due to her influence. I can't stand her. Yet, she's done a few songs that I like, in spite of my distaste for her in general.

I dont like ICP (( mainly because of its fanbase )) but "Let's Go All The Way" is a damn good song.

And I dont care much for Slipknot (( again, fanbase )), but "Duality" and "Vermillion" are just awesome songs.
