Yes, I do believe a bit of background history is due here.
Originally, the bottom of my Forum front page used to look like this:
So when I saved the page, I would have all the statistics for that particular time of day.
(as some members know I am a statistics junkie).
However, now the bottom of my front page looks like this:
Therefore, in order to get the "Forum Statistics" info, I have to be in an actual thread post.

With regards to "Today's Top 20 Posters", the page used to look like this:
Therefore, whenever I hosted DGN's monthly BOARD DOMINATION WEEK, I would then use that information to post the daily top 3 (stats would be taken at 11:59pm and posted after 12:00am the following day):
Therefore, by the end of that week, I would have all of the stats needed to calculate and post the week's Rank Awards:

In regards to the "page up" situation, since I do a lot of references to first posts and/or headers when I make welcome pages and the like, I generally find myself opening multiple pages to get to the top of the page(s) quickly, therefore, I thought of a back to the top style side arrow button for faster navigation purposes.
However, I do have a mouse with a "continuous" function which allows me to scroll up or down the page with the flick of my middle finger...guess I was just being lazy...
