I see where you are coming from, but think about the people you are talking about. I don't think anyone here would jump on your case for not getting them a free card that you put your effort into making if it got missed one week (heck, if even more than a week). We've got your back. Take a break if you need it. No one is going to storm your castle. ...And if they do, you know there are a bunch of us here that have the skill to do crowd control if need be.

Although this time people will ACTUALLY have to pay ahead of time as I doubt we will have 100+ bucks to foot the bill ahead of time, and it needs to be at an assigned seating place otherwise we will be sitting god knows were, defeating most of the point. This , even though it is in a franchise is like all the movies pretty fully stand-alone. None of the movies require any understanding of the alien/predator universe. Unlike say... harry potter were you are like WTF? every 10 minutes due to some previous movie reference. I can't even think of any crossover references that matter all crazy minor in the movies and I've watched all (the good ones... aka 3 maybe 4) multiple times. Plus this is actually the "First" true Alien Movie timeline wise. Set before the "first" movie. Also directed by Ridley Scott so the likelyhood of it being good is high. If you wanted to watch them in (chronological) order you'd start with Prometheus and then this movie. In case you're unaware the alien franchise started with something that had not really been done before, that is a reasonably large budget, high quality "artsy" horror movie. Unfortunately after the second film they had mediocre directors directors until the restart recently.

I know.. I usually -am- the 'not right' thing.. Sick brats ruin everything. So we missed. <sigh> I am uniquely distressed about missing you guys.

Just meaning I have so little income I have to juggle between gas or food. If that bill would have passed I would have to juggle between ... nothing. I'd be negative 400 dollars a month (out of 1100). Due to the cascade effect of losing medicaid and then (instantly adds 200 to my bills) and then other rollover due to this would be another 200 minimum for a decent medigap coverage (which you don't need if you have medicaide) If I can even make that work, it might be even more. Its confusing. I wonder how anyone that isn't a nerd like me figures this shit out. I got rid of my good , now impossible to get health coverage due to qualifying for medicaide (which I wouldn't qualify under this BS bill) there is no plan as good as the one I had it was a "legacy" plan that no longer exists for new applicants.

This is a opinion even I had for a long time. But what's really going on is....Its not the government per se. Its particular jackasses (and unelected billionaire puppet masters who hold the real power) in the government. The news has us all thinking everyone in the government is corrupt which isn't true. Its just what sells what used to be called newspapers so it "feels" like that is all there is in government. Some people in government actually try to do a good job for "the welfare of the american people". The rich WANT is to assume the government is worthless , so they can privatize everything (aka take from the taxpayer (that's us) and give to the rich... and nothing really trickles down. Money gets handed out to the top and stays at the top. Stab the next person that says trickle down economics works in the face. That was a concept created specifically to benefit the rich and brainwash the poor and middle class. The current administration isn't even Republican. Its some new kind of money is the only thing that matters party. Republicans true, traditionally are more about money than democrats , but they still have many perfectly well meaning people. This Trump administration is just 100% dismantle the government and give it to the rich. That's the stated goal of Bannon (chief strategist for the country, also known as "president bannon"). Although he uses an almost meaningless sounding term to describe it "Dismantle the Administrative State". Which is why they have put in all cabinent positions people who hate the core mission of the agency they are supposed to represent. Its gross. Head of the EPA doesn't belive in global warming and is trying to "Reduce burden on business" aka... not do his job. All of them are like that except the military people, which they need good guys there so they can keep funnelling pointless money into the military industrial conjob.

Was enjoyable glad I got to see everyone. Really glad to have you guys in my life. Hopefully @Trene4000 doesn't become addicted to the collectable animal miniatures I showed her. heh

This going to sound a little strange but breaking my glasses today. My roommate had to drive to the gathering so I could go so he couldn't back out. On a brighter note, He double checked a pair of eye glasses he got but because they weren't comfortable for him to wear, he put them away. Turns out that they are the same exact frame as my broken ones so in the morning we are going to RXOptical and having my lenses put into his hardly worn frames and get my glasses fixed. Model number matches so we know the frames are identical so I will be able to see again without the headache from the old script I had to wear.
