Makeup - HELP :(
kat reacted to BadKitty for a topic
My personal style, if I didn't have to work for a living, would be Marilyn Monroe meets Marilyn Manson... glamour goth. Problem is, I DO have to work, and I work in a very conservative law firm with a strict dress code. I manage to wear skulls almost every day (and have for years), although they are often disguised in some way. My issue is makeup/hair. I'm a natural blond with very pale skin. I used to color my hair a deep purple/burgundy (black cherry) but upkeep was crazy and frequent, and I don't have the time, money, or energy to do it anymore. So... back to blond even though I don't want to be. Most of the time I don't DO anything with it, since it won't hold a curl so a ponytail, a clip, or something like that is easiest and most common. Talk about blah. But makeup? I don't actually wear makeup very often, and haven't for years. I never really did as a teenager, either. I don't really know how to put it on effectively without looking like a clown or a hooker. And as pale as I am, darker colors (which I like) make me look like a vampire which is not ordinarily the look I'm going for. Ideas?1 point -

preheat oven to 400 Ingredients: 3 cans of crescent roll dough, 8 count each 1 brick of cream cheese, softened 1 stick of butter, softened about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of cooked chicken (chunks or shredded) OR 1 can of shredded chicken, drained 1 small can of mushrooms, drained OR 1/4 cup of fresh mushrooms, sliced 2 tablespoons (approximately) diced onions 3 eggs, beaten with an additional 2 tablespoons of water 2 sleeves of saltine crackers, crushed Topping: 1 large can of condensed cream of chicken soup 1/3 cup milk 2-3 tablespoons of sour cream 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella Mix cream cheese and butter until well blended. Add mushrooms, chicken, and onion, mix well. Remove dough from can and unroll. Separate so that instead of 8 crescents, it is 4 rectangles. In the center of each rectangle, place a good-sized spoonful of the cream cheese mixture. Fold up the dough and seal up any cracks/holes. Dip in egg wash, roll in cracker crumbs, and place on non-stick cookie sheet. Repeat for each can of crescent roll dough. NOTE: Keep each can in the fridge until you need it - if the dough gets warm, it's harder to work with. Once all pillows are made and on two cookie sheets (6 on each, they need room to bake), place in pre-heated oven for 20 minutes. About five minutes before pillows are done baking, heat the soup in a large sauce pan with the milk, stirring constantly until smooth. Add sour cream, and stir smooth. Finally, add the cheese and stir until it melts. Spoon over top of the pillows.1 point -

I have a metric asston of makeup and related crap, but I don't actually USE any of it. I got rid of a bunch a couple of months ago, and always seem to accumulate more... thinking I'd use this or that, and then never do.1 point -
Makeup - HELP :(

For eye makeup, I've found that CVS makeup remover works pretty well. As for face makeup, good old fashioned Ponds cold cream from the dollar store is the BEST and it leaves the face moisturized and soft. Earrings and other jewelry are a common thing for me, though.. I sell Paparazzi and I'm a walking billboard most of the time LOL1 point -
Jewelry
kat reacted to BadKitty for a topic
I am an independent consultant for Paparazzi jewelry. Every item is $5.00 plus tax, and is lead and nickel free. ALL the ladies' necklaces come with matching earrings included. We do have men's jewelry as well. All the rings fit up to a size 10 (stretchy bands), and are also great for ponytails, scarf clips, and to decorate shoe laces. The double-wrap bracelets also double as chokers, and can wrap around the ankle of a boot to dress it up. My website is www.paparazziaccessories.com/89890 Any questions, just ask!1 point -

Welcome BadKitty
TronRP reacted to BadKitty for a topic
Hi everyone Thanks for the welcome. I know Troy and Bobbi, and go to the gathering on Thursdays. I've also met SG there, and possibly others whose names I don't recognize on here. I have regularly attended local science fiction/fantasy conventions, including ConFusion, ConClave, and PenguiCon and may know some of you from there also. Ask anything you like, and I look forward to getting to know you!1 point -

~~~~~ Sweet!!! You broke through your weight plateau. That means you are past the water weight gain and your efforts are now focused on the actual "meat" of your dieting. Keep up the good work.1 point
