~~~~~ I really only hear about the success stories from "feel-good" documentaries and when profile investigation series wants to prove that the system works (for a certain case): Nightline, 20/20, 48 Hours, Dateline, On The Case with Paula Zahn, etc. However, they also won't hesitate to show you where and how the system failed so many.

That's exactly what the little voice in my head says every time I finish writing a post on here. Lol

It's amazing what one can do when they're not depressed from work and on a schedule that didn't work well.

~~~~~ Honestly, I had hoped a certain service had stepped in, but people are good at putting the right face forward when it helps their situation. I just feel like there will not be an outcome that will satisfy anyone in this case. Some legal and medical things will happen and then there will be a new norm.

I have to freaking go see that. We're off work today and tomorrow too. This is now going to be the activity I plan my entire Sunday afternoon around. In disbelief I looked up my records online to find the case in which I got the gift of suspension until the seas dry up and the skies burn, well it was inexplicably dropped by the BMV in May 2021! Had license all that time with no idea lol. Freaking game changer tho. Yeah I'm drivin out to seek that sign tomorrow fosho!

Highway diesel fuel, denatured alcohol, various adhesives, sawdust, the hot metallic smell from a fine dust of scorching hot sparks thrown from a grinder cut off wheel, burning and/or melted plastic and/or rubber, propane gas... death, I smell like death. I reckon that's my fragrance lol.

~~~~~ Weak minded and young, that's why this guy only got kids 9 and younger. Once he had you, you would do anything he asked. But poor kids in a poor neighborhood, sometimes, all it took was the offer of food and you were hooked. He had it, you wanted it. Dude was the type of predator that had parents thinking he was a charitable man helping to look after the kids in the neighborhood. Everything was word of mouth. You never saw him unless he asked to have you be brought to see him. I got to see him one time when I was 9. He made the mistake of offering me candy. In my family, you were taught to never take candy from strangers. That was the rule and I believe that was my saving grace. I was removed from the apartment and not allowed to return.

~~~~~ Yup, they all drank the Kool-Aid. Tweak the reward method a little and this was how the guy at the end of our block used to recruit neighborhood kids into his gang to run guns and drugs for him when we were little. The girls always ended up in his haram and was used to recruit other young girls. The unfortunate part is that all of this happened right across the street from a high school and it's sister middle school. Eventually, after decades of trying, the police finally caught the guy and the apartment building was condemned and demolished due to poor management and a lack of upkeep. A lot of friends were put into therapy.

It's official!!! The boy is now a Graduate and Alumni of Insight School of Michigan, Class of 2023!!!
