In just under 2 hours I made a tiny shild and made it into a sign post. Its held on by 2 simple wooden pegs so it can be taken apart for transportation. Going to cut out the feet for it after work tomorrow. Im very happy with how it look in such a raw state

    Jewelry you like.

I saw a lady friend last weekend that wore a necklace of red beads arranged to look like someone had sliced the wearer's neck. It was perfect.

    Noir leather drag show

I was sitting waiting for an hour or two for it to start before I decided to leave and just ran off over to city club that night.

Shows like Ren and Stimpy warped our fragile child minds.

Someone actually decided this was worth crafting. A team decided it was worth producing People decided it was worth buying. This is more horrifying than the sculpture it's self.

    What made your day?

I finally have all of my off-season dwarf tomato experiment growers lined up, and ready to collect their test seedlings, within the next several days. It has taken months, to plan this out, and set up! Some folks are getting "Dwarf Adelaide Festival," and some are getting "Dwarf Rosella Purple" - and next month, we will be adding one of the new strains, that I've developed myself, to the lineup. If you can't tell, plants are pretty much my life, now. I am such a luddite. 😅

    Alumni Recruiting

Heard from a little Nightgaunt birdie that this thread popped up. 😄 I'm 48, and was active on the board when I was in my early 30's. The format feels different now than it did then, even though its not. "It's not you, its me." 🤣 Just reading this thread, though, has me feeling like I don't know when I'll be back. I want to want to, but in this thread alone there was so much "big D" energy, and people getting off on being labled as pains in the butt, I honestly don't know if I can take it. The "I'm too old for this sh#t" energy is alive and well within me. Popping back on again as all the older members do, I think has a lot to do with nostalgia. We want to feel the same about it all as we did, but maybe thats just not possible anymore. We're all different. And this is where I'll stop because I'll just keep rambling otherwise. **darkkeeses**

    What Did You Cook/Bake?

My passion for culinary dishes has been returning, rather slowly, but still coming back none the less. (3 full time kitchen jobs for a whole year will burn you out). Where now I am starting to want to cook instead of feeling obligated to cook. Last night was tacos. Not the most impressive dish to fix up, but pretty good for a work night especially since I do my own seasoning mix. No pictures, but aside from the seasoned beef, I diced Roma tomatoes, chopped Romain lettuce, sliced black olives, and actually minced a small shallot and crushed garlic clove to the beef instead of using garlic and onion powder. I'll eventually replace the chili and cumin powder with actual chilis and cumin. No Jalapeno yet, kids won't like the heat, but soon enough. Going to do a roast beef this Sunday. It's been a while since I did one of those.

    My Family

I love my birds! We have a whole mess of chickens, ducks, turkeys, and guinea fowls! No need to buy eggs, here! We've got an 80 acre ranch and a growing list of livestock, among other self-sufficient amenities. Hooray for off the grid life!
