Thanks for everything Tron, you rule!

Happy the white is gone. That's the only thing I came close to giving a shit about. Dark themes are easy on the eyes. Beyond that, when it comes to further aesthetics, you would get smarter feed back from a potato than me.

I am removing all of my online profiles and won't be on much anymore. I have to focus on important business now. The next 10 yrs I just don't have room for internet follies. My pal was right I am happier offline and when without I don't miss it. I meet people at the beach and peir. It's all I need.

~~~~~ The house was across the main intersection on our old paper route we called Route 18. It started off smelling like someone was cooking barbeque, then quickly had the smell of wood smoke and hair burning. I counted 4 fire engines, 1 ambulance, 2 police cars and 1 fire marshal vehicle. All I the emergency vehicles arrived quickly and the fire was contained within 10 minutes of hearing a man and a women yelling loudly at each other outside. The guy was fussing like he was shocked and upset and the lady strain yelled, "I don't care, just call somebody". I heard sirens less than 5 minutes later. I hope everyone is ok and that they were able to save the house. I just couldn't bring myself to go investigate. We have to drive that way in a couple of days anyway.

I probably answered this on one of the other pages of this thread, but I’m seriously not interested in going to find it. Lol. I came back because this is actually a very special place to me. There were times when I didn’t think it was a special as I do. If it wasn’t for so many of you, back in 2004, being so awesome and funny and brilliant and compassionate, I would never have joined this board all the way from Baltimore, Maryland. Phee, Paper Hearts, Msterbeau, and others drew me in. While I don’t necessarily consider myself goth, or any particular subculture at all, for that matter, the people here just resonated with me. I had to join. For those that don’t know me by this screen name, I was Brenda Starrr…not that it really matters or anything like that. I met my husband here. We’ve been together for over 17 years. I hold friendships with a lot of the OGs that has been running for 20 years, now. It’s wild. When Troy passed, it snapped me into thinking about the people that I knew and met, right here. He built this place and created these relationships, good, bad, or indifferent. There was a whole lot of nostalgia. And honestly, it has been so great to pop in here from time to time and feel welcome. Would I like to see it the way it was in the old days? Fuck yeah. and I hope it’ll happen. It will take time. But it’s still nice to be back. 🩷
