Do any of you make the special trip down to the recycle place for these things that are suppose to be real bad for the earth?

I might take my cell battery down there. I just replaced it and hear it is very bad for the environment. What is in these things anyway?

All of em have pretty nasty stuff inside. Make a pile of batteries as you use em up and when you have a sufficient number .. take em to whatever recycling place is local to you.

Radioshack recycles batteries if you bring them their.... they do all kinds...
