Moonlight_Phantasy Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 Every summer in the past I have never been able to do anything interesting it seems. Does anybody have any ideas??? I will prolly be doing things alone this summer. I know I wanna go to Cedar Point this year, but what else is there?? I am not a fan of boredom and I have no ideas whatsoever!!
AstralCrux Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 sign up for the DGN Camping Trip- currently located in Quizzes and Polls. You just missed the Metro Times and Real Detroit issues with all the activity listings for the summer. If we poke Slingerlandstyx with a happy stick he might organize a Cedar Point trip.

n0Mad Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 When you said "Questionable Stuff" I thought you were talking skinny dipping, bukkake parties, or something like that. I'm hoping to make it out to Silver Leaf this year. I was Merlin in Knights of Iron's "Legends of King Arthur" last year until my old job screwed me over and I couldn't do the last three weekends. With my new job I can't do it this year and may not even be able to make it out at all (damn night shift) but I'm hoping to as I haven't seen the new site yet. From what I've heard it's phenominal.
Moonlight_Phantasy Posted June 22, 2006 Author Posted June 22, 2006 I forgot about the Renaissance Festival. And I know Meijer's has Cedar Point tickets on sale for $33. That would be cool. Any other ideas??
Msterbeau Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 I'm going to be in my pool all summer with my kids. If you can't find me, look there.

kellygrrrrrl Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 I will often go and people watch in DT royal oak, get a coffee or something, stop in at gusoline's, maybe even walk up and down the srtip just to do something. I will bike at the metro parks, or rollerblade. Drive around - mini road trips/site see...etc... Cherry Fest is cool, up in Travers City? I think 1st weekend of July! Good yummy cherries, and cherry jam, cherry syrup, cherry cherrries, you know... CEDAR POINT! Now that is my favorite thing to do....I LOVE the thrills! Yes I do!
JaneDead Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 i pretty much do a lot of hanging out outside in friend's backyards having bon fires or whatever. that is how i really like to spend my summer.

I'll just have to leave after I get off work on a sat morning and make the gf drive home while I sleep. :whistling :innocent
