Okay, so I decide to take someone's hours today cuz I needed the money. The shift was 7pm to 2am. Seeing as I havent worked a friday in a few weeks, I totally forgot how annoying some of the customers could be on that day. (for those of you who dont know, I work as a cashier at Meijer.) So anyway, I had to deal with some shitty people today that caused me a huge headache. And to top it off, my back started to hurt and I started having strange pains in my abdomen. And the bright lights were starting to make my headache worse. And all the while I'm thinking, "you know, I could be at city club right now." But then again, I still needed the money. So I ended up sticking the night out. It slowed down around 12am so that gave me some relief. I even got hit on tonight. Which is rather strange. And I had several people change their minds on things repeatedly.

So does anyone have any ideas for stress relief??

When it comes to working with the public- just try not to think too much. My co-workers make so many innocent blunders during their shifts it takes me quite a while to accomplish things that should be easier. Man, I'm so glad I'm only working the next 3 weekends for overtime and I don't have to do it all the time. Cell phones are not ideal when being checked into a hotel people. Turn it all the way off!
