:devil Almost every freeway is now being worked on in more places this year thatn last.I guess they are going to re build the M-59 I-75 interchange,and found out the hard way yeaterday what a mess iit was.

And that is just the beginning.It still amazes me when you get some of these idiot drivers trying to drive around barricades and put the workers in jeopardy,just to pass a few cars.

What kills me they post detours,and guess what, the roads are also being worked on,or they close off a road and don't even work on it for a week or two.

Don't get me started. I still can't believe it took me two and a half hours each way from Lansing/Detroit last weekend. One of many reasons why I don't live in the metro.

I could talk for hours on construction and not feel any better about it. the gratiot stuff is almost done but the stuff that they did do made it worse you can barely see around cars. Crank you know what i am talking about that turn around right by trixies.....?

that was explained to me once... the problem is the people who do the road closing aren't the same people who actually do the work. So if the contractors get held up on the previous part of the job, the barrels are in place & there's nothing to be done about it 'cos there's no way to tell when they'll actually get to it. Seems to me they could work out a better system but what do I know.
