It's either we the Domain name has expired and our DNS haven't caught up with it.

Or the Domain name had expired and then was re-newed and everyone else's DNS haven't caught up with ours.

It's just a matter of time till we know which is which.....

I havent had any problems since the bandwith issues...and I just use regular ol' internet explorer...but maybe the problem has been fixed?

According to the Domain name provider, the domain name expired. Only troy can renew it. They won't let anyone else pay for him. He has to choose.

IPB (invision) says that the account with them is in good standing. That is why we can get in with detroitgothic.ipbhost.com.

The way Troy explained it to me before, it takes a while for all the isps to get the information that there was a change with the domain name, thats why some got the error earlier than others.

When Troy looks at this - or if someone..ahem... can let him know - I had invision change the links to use the ipb address instead of detroitgothic.net until the domain name could be figured out. Otherwise anyone could get to the board with detroitgothic.ipbhost.com but when they clicked a link or tried to log in, it would take them the the domain expired page.
