I was going to throw out a bit of opinion to go along with the following link, but this time, I decided not to. I'd like to hear people's comments about it without leading or heaven forbid, baiting.

The Link

I'm having a little trouble getting what the artist is saying.

The punchline threw me off a bit. The one character is saying the emo/goth chick is "enlightened", but then in the next bubble is saying that may or may not be a sign of shallowness... It's contradictory to me.

Or, I'm just not getting it.

All I can say is, I agree with the red shirt chick. Just 'cause you look a certain way doesn't mean you have to act a certain way.

I'm with Critter on that one...I'm confused. They try to make her look "enlightened" and then try to make her look silly. Hmmm...

Shit....

I can't even read it!

I can't read it either!

As for just looking at it...they all looked the same, no distinct characteristics.

"or heaven forbid, baiting."Gee. Thanks.

Do people just want me to leave? Because that's the sense I'm getting.

I was cool with it right up until the last panel... Then the artist lost me.

Hermine... You seem to have lost me too... What are you talking about?

"Today is Free Beating Day. For more info, please annoy the nearest employee."

That is a clever comic. I like the cleverness. I also like Cheery McHelpful, she's my kind of poseur. I need a white belt.

If you can't see it, click on the lower right hand corner...it will make the image larger.

Hermine, I don't think you get the right impression from alot of people on the board. I've met alot of them. Perhaps, the people around you are generally argumentative, but DGNers really aren't. There's an underlying ability for many if not all of us to be able to laugh at ourselves, which translates to generally no interest in attacking each other on the forums.
