First of all, he threw a sandwhich? What an example to show his six year old!!!! Second of all, I didn't think those eggs came apart. Third, at least it was a McMuffin and not something harder. Give me a break. Assualt and battery by flying McMuffin? Jesus.

I can actually see the justification as to why they gave him a harsh sentence, although being in a drive-through, there's little you can do and the victim is certain to get away.

However, screaming, yelling and throwing things happens a lot in food service. Anyone who's worked it can tell you that. Most likely, the drive-through person simply picked up the wrong sandwich and added to his order. No harm, no foul. And it's quite standard for them to ask for the food back.

I think people need to get a grip sometimes. It's not the end of the world if you got sausage instead of ham. Guess what? Any dietary argument you might've had just went right out the window because they're BOTH pork product. And if you're in that much of a hurry, ffs, just leave the house a couple minutes earlier.

(Sorry, folks. I've worked too many jobs that were or were a part of a food service position. Unfortunately, the yellers, the screamers and the throwers crop up FAR more often than most folks care to admit.)

If there is one thing that pisses me off more is going through the drive through, getting home and having the wrong food. I should NOT have to sit there in the line opening packages to make sure I have the proper innerds!!! I should throw my big mac at them some day!!! Now THAT would be a sight.

i hate getting the wrong food but i figure it is fast food. i don't think many of the people that work there really take "pride" in what they do. no offense to anyone that works there.

and people make mistakes, it happens.

there is this mcdonald's by me though and the people there are ALL IDIOTS. i don't go there often but EVERY time i have gone there and i mean EVERY time- they screw up.

last time i went they took my order 3 times. and then still screwed up.

so yeah i won't be going there again. ever. ever ever ever. not because of just that, but because it is every time. but then again- it is fast food. it is fast, cheap and gross. i really don't expect much from that anyways.

Strange i worked in various retail jobs from circa 1991 to 1996 on and off and never had this horror story type encounters that many people i talk to have had. I guess i also tend to forget about them pretty fast though, im mad for all of about 15 seconds, then i put it out of my mind.

I think ill throw the dried-out McFries that i seem to get 3 our of 4 times back at the McWorker. Probably easier to pick fries out of your hair than an egg McMuffin.

I mean when im spending the big bucks like that i expect top-flight quality!!!
