GOTHIKA Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 Ok, it's been a long ass time since I last posted up a topic so here goes: I got a friend name Kelli she is cute as hell; just for those who knew (DMoney313) he was my boyfriend until we broke up jan. 31, 2006! Kelli and I met up at Star Southfield theater where we used to work together until she quitted and I got fired for hustling, I tongue-kissed her and invited her to come to the techno fest with me and my new boyfriend, Chris! We having fun and shit like that (may 2006) she called her man and another chick picked up his cellphone and she was single and I wanted her to be my girlfriend for a threesome and forever, right? WRONG! Later on in June, I moved to south Rockwood with my mom to start a new life, I call her and she tells me that she has a boyfriend name Derek Hollaway?!?!?!? I got extremely piss the FUCK OFF, ARGH >_<! I never kept a secret from her and she keeps this from me?!?!?! She knows that I used to still love Derek but no one asked how would Jasmine feel about it. Right now, I have no love for derek, i think of him as a friend and nothing more since no one consider my feelings. And here's another problem: she thinks that I will seduce Derek like last time when he was Dating Tanisha; with all due respect is she can't trust her man around her friend, she can't trust no one but herself. Is she can't trust her man nor me, then what does she got? NOTHING! I told her things are different now since I'm doing this drug called DXM with my boyfriend once a month and it TOTALLY ROCKS! I know Derek better than anyone else; he wouldn't let me seduce him cuz I'm a druggie now! Plus; she's mad because since she is the new girlfriend in Derek's life she doesn't know the whereabouts of Derek and what He got planned and I do cuz I read a lot and find out what they got to do today! Now, I'm wondering does this rule still exist or did it rule itself out ages ago: "IS DATING YOUR BEST FRIEND'S EX FORBIDDEN OR FORGOTTEN?" Please let me know, A.S.A.P., and this will help me decide whether or not should I still be their friend and feel happy or get FUCKING EVEN?!?!?!
Moonlight_Phantasy Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 personally i dont like my friends dating my ex
GOTHIKA Posted June 30, 2006 Author Posted June 30, 2006 I don't like it either; but other tell me to be happy, some tell me to never be their friend anymore. I just don't want to get hurt anymore

livininxtcgoth Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 my own personal rule is never under any circumstance to date a friend of one of your ex's or an ex of one of your friends
GOTHIKA Posted June 30, 2006 Author Posted June 30, 2006 I totally agree; but if there suppose to be your friend dating your ex, shouldn't they let you know that you got feelings for their ex?
The Kanuck Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 My rule is, if they ask and it has not been too short of a time off then it is ok. If they don't ask or you just broke up (like in your case) that is stepping over the line and I make sure to tell them how I feel.
GOTHIKA Posted June 30, 2006 Author Posted June 30, 2006 I told her how I feel about Derek, but she must not have taken me seriously and did what she wanted to do derek and I was suppose to get back together next year and he told me that he can't survive one year w/o sex and from that point i think he just want to be in a relationship just to get a "nut" up
Hellion Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 my own personal rule is never under any circumstance to date a friend of one of your ex's or an ex of one of your friends <{POST_SNAPBACK}> :devil It ends up being more dramatic.
Blackmail Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 I told her how I feel about Derek, but she must not have taken me seriously and did what she wanted to do derek and I was suppose to get back together next year and he told me that he can't survive one year w/o sex and from that point i think he just want to be in a relationship just to get a "nut" up <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think Oprah would say that he ain't worth it. If he won't wait a year and his reason is because he needs sex then you should find someone else. I think Dr. Phil would say that too.
Head Wreck Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 glad to have you back. personally, i wouldnt mind if a friend dated one of my exes, it didnt work out between us so it might work between them. everyone has a right to happyness, n matter how clouded your judgment may be ( IMHO, ex's tend to throw a lot of confusion in, just ignore it and embrace life for what it is, a series of satirical contradictions)
BrassFusion Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 Yeah, for me, it would depend on how much I liked and respected whoever was involved. Like if I really liked my girlfriend and she started dating this JACKASS that I used to date... I'd feel like she didn't value my opinion on the guy. It all depends on the people. Maybe try to give them a chance?
GOTHIKA Posted July 1, 2006 Author Posted July 1, 2006 she barely knows derek through me and she wants to date him already?
BrassFusion Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 Then I'll go out on a limb and say she's being disrespectful. Have you told her how you feel?
honeymustard02 Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 I don't like it either. BUT...yes there's a BUT.....It's their buisness not yours anymore. You broke up a while ago. You're both free to do as or who you please. Even if you're not happy, you have no say in the situtation. Just like HE can't tell you who you can and can't date. Maybe she's not considered a friend, that just leaves a space open to find someone else who respects your feelings.
Hellion Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 no respect no trust= no friendship <{POST_SNAPBACK}> :devil That is correct sir.
DeadBurgerKing (10) Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 I would like to think that rule was still in affect...i mean its an unwrittin rule...but now I dont trust anyone with that perticular situation...I was with this girl Brittani for 3 years and engaged...then she cheated on me with my best freind of 6 years Tim...formely best freind now obviously... Though she wasnt an ex at the time...it was still my best freind...I suppose it depends on how you feel about your ex...if you still love him and she knows it she shouldnt be dating him...but if you dont have any feelings towards him then what does it matter? Thats how I wouldve felt if Brittani and I broke up b4 Tim interfered...
Homicidalheathen Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 I wouldn't do it. And here is why, someone actually told me to 'go for it, I am over him' once, well.........she didn't know her own heart maybe, maybe she thought she loved me enough I was the one person she could 'test' herself with, I know she WANTED to be over him and all free spirited about it, able to see him with someone else she knew wouldn't be that into him, but....it hurt her, even though it was her suggestion....and it sorta stained the friendship. We were never as close after. So even if someone SAYS its ok.....I won't do it now.
GOTHIKA Posted July 2, 2006 Author Posted July 2, 2006 I told her that i still got feelings for him; but i don't think she cares now
