BillyDeath Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Yesterday I went up north to a town called Rosebush to visit Uncle Joe and Aunt Viv, Ron and Darla. It is about a half an hour north of Midland and Baycity. My family and I and my grandparents all came. It was all farmland and there was hardly anything out there. Have any of you ever heard of or been to the town of Roseville or any place north of midland and Baycity pass the Zilwalkie bridge. Saginaw , midland, and Baycity are small enough towns but the towns further north are almost nothing. There isn't any work up their except Dow Chemicals. I wonder what people do when they wanna go out.
BillyDeath Posted July 5, 2006 Author Posted July 5, 2006 There mostly a bunch of hillbillies up their.
Moonlight_Phantasy Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 Never heard of it. Interesting...... My Mom used to live in Bay City once upon a time. I know somewhere in Michigan there is a beautiful place that has waterfalls. Ive always wanted to go there.....
The_Dark Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 Rosebush is 10minutes north of Mt. Pleasant and about a 40min drive Northwest of Midland. It's also home to a rather large Engineering firm that employees about 1500 people. I know this because I used to be the IT manager. What do people do? Water Skiing, Downhill skiing, cross country skiing, motor cross, snowmobliels, hiking, fishing, boating, hunting... you know.. outside stuff. Michigan has over 90 waterfalls and some estimates put it at 150. Most are in the UP. The biggest is Tahquamenon. Michigan also has a river Canyon in the UP. It's about 3miles long, 40-60feet deep and 100-200 yards across. and you can take your hillbilly comment and stuff it up your ass.
