honeymustard02 Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 I don't know if we have fans out there but the new Pirates movie is fucking awesome!!! I was excited about it but a little worried on how well the characters would look. But they went way above and beyond what I imagined!
phee Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 I really enjoyed... no not as good as the first one.... but man... awesome sequal....
DJ Nocker Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 I dont really care to see it (im a ninja kinda guy) But a couple of my friends saw it, who are huge fans of the first movie and pirates in general, they said the following. 1. It was way longer than it needed to be. 2. There were way to many plots to be shuved into one movie. 3. Way to much eye make up, everyone looked like a girl. 4. The first was better. So yea...thats what I have herd about it
DarkVampire Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 It kicked ass. I plan on seeing it again this weekend.
SpidersMoment Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 the movie was awaesome, but i agree, it was long.....I seen it twice, and both times my bladder was about to explode.
Nienna Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 I loved it, it was awesome but yeah, alittle too long.
Gothmama25 Posted July 19, 2006 Posted July 19, 2006 That movie rocked. I loved it. I Havent seen the first one yet but now I want to.
Mikielikesit Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 Yes it was fantastic ....and the ending killed me but great step up for the next one though.....PIRATES KICK ASS... :pirate
n0Mad Posted July 30, 2006 Posted July 30, 2006 My official review: I have determined that movie critics are too busy looking for art that they've forgotten how to have fun.
sass_in_the_pants Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 So, i just went to see this movie tonight and apparently, I have been living under a rock because I seem to be the only one who didn't know that there was a Pirates 3 next summer and so I also didn't know that this one didn't really have an ending. Um, excuse me, this movie cost me $8 (okay, so it cost my husband $8, but that's not the point here) adn for that $8 I expect an ENTIRE movie, which means, a beginning, middle AND END. I would like $2.67 BACK thank you very much. I HATE NON-ENDING THINGS!!! Argh! (and I mean Argh in the Peanuts kind of way, not the Pirates way...) Otherwise, I LOVED IT! How freaking fun was that! Whee!
jadnifer Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 I cannot wait to see this movie. I didnt see the first one for a really long time because i didnt think that i would like it, but when i saw it i loved it. I will probably wait until it comes to the cheap show thats only 2.50 and see it then.
Mikielikesit Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 Jad in my opinion this movie is worth the 8 bucks or whatever you have to pay to see it.......as I have said before PIRATES KICK ASS :pirate
Fierce Critter Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 I would pay twice as much to see twice as much JD as CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow twice as long. Heave. Gasp. Sigh.
sass_in_the_pants Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 Aaaahhh..the luscious Mr. Depp. I'd take him from 21 Jump Street. I'd take him from Edward Scissorhands. And I'd even take him from Crybaby! And, nothing, no Kraken, no not quite dead things, no seasickness, would EVER keep from from JD. Although, as I was watching the movie I kept thinking "Sheesh, William Turner, get another girlfriend already!" I mean, seriously, find some girl for whom you don't have to go running all about the world to save her. Just dump her. Then again, I'm a cynic.
jadnifer Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 Jad in my opinion this movie is worth the 8 bucks or whatever you have to pay to see it.......as I have said before PIRATES KICK ASS :pirate It was a movie that I was thinking about paying the 8 bucks for. Dont usually do it unless i think that its going to be a REALLY good one.
