Ok so... Carla has totally gotten me hooked on this yardsale shindig. There are really far too many cool objects to be purchased for damn near nothing.

This weekend I found an old Motorola radio (Late 50's) that I plan to gut and convert into an Ipod boombox.

Also picked up an old 16mm projecter for $20. It works and the format is widely available. I'm going to find some cool old films and have a monthly evening to watch it I think....

I got an old palmpilot from Amazon (and yeah I know, not a yardsale but it's secondhand). It's cheap because it's obsolete and crap for most anything compared with what's available now, but it's fabulous for reading ebooks.

Some people laugh when they see it though, heh heh. I like it! I can fit 8 books in my purse in that tiny thing.
