Wierd happenings around Detroit

Just have so many strange sightings I thought I'd start a thread for it! I guess it doesn't have to be just Detroit...this is for the Wierdo's!!!

I'll go first. The other day my friend and I who grew up in the MI country side, and loves coming to Detroit to see the freaks with me........well, we went to a store to get a cheap blanket for the beach. That family Dollar at 15 and Gratiot. Well we walk up to the counter and the cashier was making herself and this other cashier sandwitches. Right there. On the conveyor belt. Without a plate, napkin....nothing. Bread, a piece of ham...a butter knife with mayo on it...all right on top the conveyor belt. I just walked up, looked down.....and said.....'I guess it'st lunch time? To which they proceeded to be rude while checking me out, as if I had interupted their private tea party. We walk out and I am like, 'Did you see that! Gross!' I mean, I go to the bathroom and sometimes there is no hook for my purse and I am not putting it on the back of the toilet to have it fall in so it goes on the floor. Then when I go check out I put my purse on the conveyor belt to get out my credit card. Yuk! And all the other things that go on there....almost as bad as Cranks muffin! :doh

people driving on the wrong side of the road and no one notices

OH but I do notice.....I just don't beep like everyone else. I saw someone go unconscious at the wheel around here once, he was slumped over.....just sorta went across the road in front of us...it was kinda scary.....

Then there was the old lady who drove the wrong way down gratiot for a bit until she got to her parking lot of choice. She did a MI turn around and actually went the wrong way down Gratiot to get to it instead of picking a turn through further up.

theres the left side of the rad, and the wrong side. i think people get confused with direction names and highway code
