BillyDeath Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 Has anyone ever experienced any form of paranormal activity that seems to come from some other parellel supernatural demension or some denomic spirit. When my mom was in high school two of her friends experienced some supernatural activity, in the girls dorm in Holly off of Academy Road. The girls woke one night, after midnight, and the curtains in their rooms and the curtains on the windows were floating in the air with the windows being shut. The drawers were being pulled out voices were heard in the hallway.

BillyDeath Posted July 26, 2006 Author Posted July 26, 2006 Aye, I've had some "supernatural" experiences in girls' dorms, too- <{POST_SNAPBACK}> oh ya? I'm talking in regards to the supernatural things.
Paper Hearts Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 ^El-nope-o. Can't say I've seen flying saucers or phantoms...or a yeti.
BrassFusion Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 I remember seeing ufos twice when I was a kid. And they were real ufo's, because they were flying for sure, and I never did identify them. =) I don't know what I saw. I'm not adamant that there's no logical explanation. I was pretty young.
Homicidalheathen Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 About 7 yrs ago I was hanging out with this guy who is just full of chaotic energy and had some evil intentions towards me. He also admitted to dabling in things he shouldn't after.......well.....anyway......I used to go online in the basement to chat with him all the time. This thing....ghost.....spirit........mind created entity??? Not sure what it was.....came in through the basement wall in the direction this guy always comes from when he visits. I heard it first.....then my cat. It really freaked my cat out big time. When this thing was around (which wasn't long) My cat wouldn't even let anyone touch him! It stayed in the basement for a few days then made its way upstairs......then through the house, towards the living room and out the front door eventually. It sounded like a kid crying 'momma!' and made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. My man, my kids......they all heard it when it got up stairs. They had never had a spirit experience b4 so it really freaked them out. So I went to see the occult guy on Gratiot at Martin. He is so nice. Gave me a free phsychic reading and a free bag of 'vestive?' powder and sold me a dollar white candle. He told me how to get rid of it and it worked. It exited through the front of the house, the door....and never came back. I just sort of pushed it out the way it came with a banishing ritual. Other than that yah, I used to hang out with a guy who could manipulate such energies to his advantage and he would get his evil icky little things stuck to people all the time. They just sound like moaning little demons but you don't see anything. And they bump around the room. The funny thing is, he does excersisms so we think he does it on purpose to further his own 'career'. His stuff never hung around long and always got pushed off naturally by my own power I guess. I wouldn't know it was there until it lifted. And it was always a few days after I saw him. Needless to say he is NOT WELCOME in our cirlce anymore.
BrassFusion Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 Two things: 1. I wonder why spirit infestation never seems to happen to people who don't believe in spirit infestations, and 2. You should start an extermination service. It's a niche market, sure, but you'd have a monopoly.
phee Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 I have seen things that I can't explain.... but I would hardley call them supernatural
kellygrrrrrl Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 I believe that demons/spirits are real. I have never really had an expirience, but.... I was always taught not to mingle with these spirits/demons. I have felt eerie presences, but it has been said too that sometimes these feelings are often suggested fears....and the mind can wander into directions we never thought. There has been times where I've felt like someone was watching....heard a bump or noise, and then felt a hot angry feeling of like, get the fuck out of here. Usually I will take this feeling seriously and BOOK...... I don't want to dabble in it cause I'm just to afraid. If I ever SAW a ghost or had a bad expirience in this sense, I would probably faint or die of heartattack out of fear. So I hope they never fuck with me. :fear
phee Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 As an agnostic... I don't rule out the possibility.... but it seems that there are other things that it is more likely.... Just because we don't understand why something happens, doesn't mean it is supernatual....
Steven Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 yes. seen things, heard things, felt things, had things happen to me. thats the short version. When I was a kid I also knew an impassioned occultist (an avowed Satanist) who tried to (with a friend from Hollywood) kill my mother, failed, and instead slew her dog and spread its blood and entrails down the hallway. I broke into his home later. Found many disturbing things. After that demonic activity in my life increased for several years. its real.

BrassFusion Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 just because you dont beleive in something, does not mean it does not exist. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Just because YOU believe in something doesn't mean it does. Add those two statements together and you have agnosticism.
Steven Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 Just because YOU believe in something doesn't mean it does. Add those two statements together and you have agnosticism. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Been waiting for you Brass, knew you'd say this....
phee Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 just because you dont beleive in something, does not mean it does not exist. Correct But I believe that prooving that something does exist is well where the burdan should rest,

phee Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 heh!!! Yeah... When a rightwing nut on easterns campus gets cornered in a debate it usually comes down to.... "Well you can't prove it DOESN'T exist... so there" Can you imagine if that is where the burdan of proof was in the rest of the world? it would be like "Well you can't proove that you are not the spawn of Satan and Dolly Parton.... so there"
BrassFusion Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 heh!!!Yeah... When a rightwing nut on easterns campus gets cornered in a debate it usually comes down to.... AstralCrux Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 Ghost hunting anyone? I'll go with you Erin, but be warned things like me. I do usually drag around a deceased grandparent or two that like to protect me though.
Homicidalheathen Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 Yah, I call that a normal day in Detroit. I have seen things that I can't explain.... but I would hardley call them supernatural <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
