I don't do myspace 'cos (a) it seems way too time-consuming; (b) I'm kind of a private person in some ways... every random passerby doesn't need to know all the intimate details of my life; and © I'm utterly terrified of underage kids masquerading as adults. I can usually tell when people aren't what they're trying to seem... but it would only take one to fuck up my life 9 ways to sunday. A close friend of mine spent the past couple years dealing w/major legal trouble from an online hookup, so the possibility is just too real for me.

& Brenda I'm glad to know someone else is like me about the phone... I'm notorious for not calling people altho I'll happily email/IM all day long. Maybe it's cos I've spent so much time answering phones for a living... maybe t when I call someone I'm always sure I'm interrupting something much more fun & interesting than talking to boring ol' me.
