I've heard nothing but terrible things about Harpos... A guy that I was partying with this last weekend basically said that it's a skinhead bar in an all black neighborhood, resulting in fights every night pretty much. While he was there, he got all of his windows smashed out in order to get to his CD player. Of course, this had to happen in the middle of January. Does anyone have anything good to say about this venue? Of course, I've already bought tickets, so I guess it doesn't make too much difference.

I'm gonna go run off and cry now, because I'm going to miss that performance.

ANYWHO, I've heard bad stuff about Harpo's which nearly made me miss out on seeing Birthday Massacre/Deadstar Assembly. But, I-Rock nightclub was a fairly nice venue, huge as hell and well-kept.

It's may be Harper street but I'd go to I-rock again.

AS for Harpo's......... I've never been. ;_;

Meh, either way, I'm excited to go. I just hope the crowd doesn't get too crazy, as I don't really enjoy moshing as much as I used to.

Yes harper is a bad area, but if your willing to go to CC or any other part of detroit it shouldnt be a problem. I usually just hurry in and out of the venue. Dont stand outside waiting for something to happen . I love harpos, they put on great shows and have cool security. Although combicrist is not the type of band that would play there, nor KMFDM, theu usually play at st. andrews, oh well, I will probably go regardless.

I am most certainly going to go see CC and KMFDM. I need that break and more importantly, I missed seeing Andy at Necto so I need to make it up to myself.
