Carla almost got hit by this guy last on her way home from my place. I'm rather hoping Darwin does his magic and takes him out of the gene pool since he's already close. Luckily the other person didn't sustain life-threatening injuries.

I had something similar happen to me not too long ago.

Pulling out of a delivery in Wayne, going back to Michigan Avenue ... a Mustang turned the corner off Michigan Ave at a very high speed, slid across some railroad tracks missing me by near INCHES ... car flipped and hit a telephone pole.

Everyone in the car died.

On a lighter note, I had just bought my Saturn Ion two years ago and was almost hit by a Model T (you heard it right, A MODEL T) that ran a red light. Probably within about 5 feet from each other. After I got past the initial shock and anger, I couldn't help but laugh. :laughing

I think it was Howe and Michigan Avenue. This Mustang was red.

There was a very similar one at Second St. and Michigan Ave. a couple months later (more recently) though, I nearly got caught in that one too, again, across the railroad tracks. Don't people realize that your gonna SLIDE across the metal tracks at high speeds? Sheesh. I saw most of that one happen in my rear-view mirror. That Mustang was teal. It hit a telephone pole but I don't think that one flipped, I don't think there was any fatalities in that one though.
