I practiced for a while yesterday, because in a few weeks I'll be auditioning for 3rd or 4th spot in Pontiac Oakland Symphony (POS, hahahaha).

I was surprised that I sounded as good as I did, because I don't practice too often... But somehow, my range was pretty impressive. The lows were low and the highs were high and I had flexibility that I WAY didn't expect to have after taking a break for the summer.

And omg I just picked up the horn... I sound twice as good as I did yesterday, my god. I'm so excited I couldn't even figure out which forum to post this under. WOOT.

I regret to inform you that the Pontiac Oakland Symphony will have to

postpone the horn auditions. The date is still yet to be determined.

The auditions will be for Principal horn, 3rd horn and 4th horn. Due

to the additional vacancy within the section we would like to allow

everyone the opportunity to audition for all vacancies and have ample

time to prepare. We are trying to narrow down a date towards the end

of September. I apologize for any inconvenience and will be sure to

notify you immediately with details.
