okay!!!! first of all, hello everyone. I havent been on the site in awhile so just wanted to catch up. However, I do get emails from the DGN news forum. What the hell is going on? I am very upset that there are people leaving the site because of the way that others are acting. I know that Darque Medallion left because of it. I know him personally and it upsets me that he left because he would post some very good topics and i want for him to come back. I dont quite understand what is going on here? can someone please fill me in?

Not when it comes to people personal issues.... If one board member is upset at another board member... that is their business... my business is to keep the drama/namecalling/flamewars off board...

As far as I know Crank had issues with other people, and he specifically asked me in person to "be Switzerland" and not get involved or take sides...

So no, in fact if I had gotten involved and such... that would have gone against my status as a mod...

If theres something specific that needs to be fixed, bring it up personally with a particular mod or send it to all mods and see if you can get it sorted out. If its a problem with a >moderator

Generally a "whats all the drama??" type public post wont fix any drama it will just stir it up more.

Most of the mods are pretty helpful. It is true that the "personal" aspect of things is somewhat outside of what mods do. The idea is to keep the >board

If theres people being openly jerks on the board, and consistantly dont cut it out after being warned , that is a problem that needs to be fixed.

Rarely does any public discussion of interpersonal drama fix anything. If there is some problem with a particular post or set of posts, that seem to be against the dgn play nice rules, that IS something mods should be helping with and feel free to bring it up with the moderators.

I think it is the gossip that happens more OFF the board that gets peeps upset.
