Yes I had just moved down here to Jacksonville Florida. I miss y'all a lot. I am just getting to know the people. Their are a couple of Goth's down here and a cool coffee shop, named Fuel. Their is a Goth club, like the City Club, called the Eclipse that is named Factory - for the Goth nights, but it is only on saturday night. The club is very small - alot smaller than City Club.

This town, I hear, is run by a bunch Southern Baptist Bible thumpers - not to knock anyone who is Southern Baptist. Their is no fetish shows in the community. Their are a lot of country folks, too, who talk in a southern accent.

This should give YOU lead in creating a goth community for Florida.

perhaps you and your new goth friends can bump heads and perhaps get some people to sponsor a show??

maybe you can create a scene in Florida?

to recruit new goths you might look for kids who hang around denny's late at night or at music stores... if that doesnt work... try and convert some ravers with more modern gothy/rave music... or put up adds at hot topic....

lol, kidding. Just wait for the next marilyn manson album. that will surely swell the ranks!

You could also try going to Ibor city in Tampa... goths there.... plus it was the setting for SNLs "Goth Talk" with Azrael Abyss and Circe Nightshade
