I've been thinking about this guy lately and realized that he is the perfect guy for me. I mean no other guy that I've met lately compares to him. I have known him for a long time and he really makes me happy. I don't even care about all the rumors I've heard about him lately. I would do anything to be with him. My daughter met him once and really liked him. She doesn't like just anyone either. Am I wrong to feel like this? Has anyone else ever felt like this about someone?

Sounds like you've got a crush. :devil You have to remember that, at the beginning of any new romance (even if it's just you that's feeling romantic), your brain is releasing endorphines in order to encourage you to "mate" (sorry to put it in such biological terms) with him. That is probably why he appears to be so much better than other guys that are out there. <shrug> There's nothing wrong with feeling that way as long as he's a decent guy. But you'll only find that out by getting to know him better.

Just take it slow. I know that one shouldn't pay attention to rumors.....but.....it is how we warn each other of things.

Then again, if your kid is truely in tune with people and you....maybe she does know best.

Either way, how can taking it slow hurt. If he is mature, and it is truely love....and he is good for you....then taking it slow should be ok. I am so wary of people who move to fast......like they are afraid of loosing you before you find out too much or something.
