Microsoft on Monday briefly pricing for Windows Vista on its Canadian Web site, giving an eye into what the company will charge for the new operating system.

I'm gonna keep XP until it becomes a compatibility issue. Seems pretty freaking expensive to me.

And there's no telling whether it's going to suck... =) I recall some people keeping Windows 95 well into the 00's with no major issue...

My next computer will be a Mac. I can still dual boot into Windows when absolutely necessary.

If you choose this route. I recommend Ubuntu. Its been a good desktop/laptop for me for almost a year now.

I'm still running Windows Me on my desktop. My new notebook that came on Monday is running XP Media Center Edition.
