the eternal Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 I'm so happy for you honey. I know how much pain and stress he's caused you. I can't imagine how difficult it was for you- going from caring for devlopmentally disabled people by day to taking care of a schizophrenic on disability by night. Especially when that person is your husband. No one who sees the fun drunk at city club really understands what you leave behind one night a week. But no more. :peanutbutterjellytime I'm so glad I got to know you; away from the makeup, the noise, the booze and the weird couple who dress up in full leather because they are too cool for everyone else. And instead, I got to know the caring soul who always listens. The cynic that always makes me laugh. The beauty who is always loving always supportive, always there even when everyone else wants to shine a bright light on my utter lack of worth. You add meaning to my days and I long for the time when you will be by my side every night. I love you eternally

Glad it went smoothly for you. Thanks. It went fast because we didn't have children, we were only married 2 1/2 years, and I owned all of my major things before we were married, so there was nothing to split up or argue over.
