jadnifer Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 I received this in a forwarded email from a friend of mine and wanted to know what you guys thought about it. Did you know that those who appear to be very strong in heart, are real weak and most susceptible? Im not sure how I feel on that one. Did you know that those who spend their time protecting others are the ones that really need someone to protect them? Sometimes this could be true depending on the person and the situation. Did you know that the three most difficult things to say are: I Love You, Sorry, and Help Me? This I agree with whole-heartedly. Did you know that those who dress in red are more confident in themselves? Did you know that those who dress in yellow are those that enjoy their beauty? Did you know that those who dress in black are those who want to be unnoticed and need your help and understanding? Ok, these I dont agree with because of the fact that based on what you wear, you cant tell what a person feels or enjoys or has confidence in. I wear black and that doesnt mean that I want to be unnoticed. I mean, there are some things that people need help with but thats probably not why they wear black. Did you know that when you help someone, the help is returned in two-fold? I would like to believe that this is true all the time, but sometimes it isnt. Sometimes you help someone and you get nothing in return. But then again, it wouldnt mean anything if you did it only because you expected something from that person in return. Did you know that it's easier to say what you feel in writing than saying it to someone in the face? But did you also know that it has more value when you say it to their face? This has so much meaning in my life, I couldnt even begin to describe it. Did you know that if you ask for something in faith, your wishes are granted? Maybe sometimes, not all the time. Makes me think of the song by Garth Brooks -Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers. Did you know that you can make your dreams come true, like falling in love, becoming rich, staying healthy, if you ask for it by faith, and you really knew, youd be surprised by what you could do. This may apply in certain areas in life. I think that if people knew or didnt care what the outcome was, they would try much harder for what they wanted. I think fear has a lot to do with not trying. The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called Failure, a loop called Confusion, speed bumps called Friends, red lights called Enemies, yellow lights called Family. You will have flats called Jobs. But, if you have a spare called Determination, an Engine called Perserverance, insurance called Faith, and a driver called Jesus, you will make it to a place called success. This I do agree with. There will be ups and downs all the time, but if you stick with it, it will pay off in some way in the end. You dont have to necessarily believe in Jesus to believe this quote. Just having faith in yourself will help you tremendously. I know that not all of you will have the same beliefs on this topic as I do, but that was the whole point of this topic...to find out what you guys do think of it. Sorry that it was so long, but I thought that this would be something good to share and I hope that you do read it because if nothing else, maybe it will help you to think about some things in a new light, something that you may have been struggling with. Even if you dont post, I hope that you do read it. I hope to hear how you guys feel about it.
