I just heard about it on the radio. I was a bit surprised to hear this news due to the fact that I have heard nothing about ladies basketball this summer. I had forgotten Detroit even had a team, go figure. Anyway congrats to the Detroit Shock in winnng their 2nd championship in 3 years.

Yeah usually the less well known franchises only "make the news" if they really win big time or have some scandal.
