I wish the movie "Eternal Sunshine" was real so I could get someone erased from my mind forever. I have decided to try and forget someone or I wll be hurt. This guy seems to get pleasure form hurting others.

That was prolly one of my fav. movies, but what i got from the movie is that no matter how painful a person/memory can be its shaped who we are now and thats something we shouldn't want to change.

On a side note, id wanna forget my ex...for calling my parents and tellin them i knocked her up even though she wasnt preggers....havent trusted a women in weeks lol.

Try to occupy your mind with other things as much as possible, or harder, directly control your emotions (takes a long time to learn still haven't quite mastered it but i'm getting better). Easier said than done i know.

Often we try to make sense of things like that , and cant because the people doing them aren't using any real logic or compassion the way we'd expect a "good" person to.

Try to focus on living in the moment rather than the anxious past or the anxious future. Trying to find joy in the present , breathing, watching, observing, thinking etc is a much more fruitful use of energy. We empower jackasses to be jackasses the more we let them get to us.

Jerks can be so depressing. Especially when they seem like they are intentionally being jerks and are unaplogetic. =(

Thanks for the advice. I have been occuping my mind today on making some jewelry and listening to music. I haven't thought about him or been sad today.

Oh I sooo agree with that statement. Funny enough, I hadn't seen that movie until I was struggling to stay sane through the worst breakup of my life. It was oddly cathartic but I think if faced with the option I wouldn't do it. The good time I had in that relationship is still really precious to me... and what he did to me made me alot smarter and less trusting. I guess you learn something from every experience in life. If you erased that experience then it would have all been for nothing. I do hate wasting time.

dude how ironic this topic is up...yesterday oi was in a big mood to watch it again. I love this movie. And i agree, if it was real i would erase my ex from my head, more now then ever.

But you gotta relize, if it wasnt for the bad times you wouldnt be the person that you are now. Stronger and more experianced.

I have at least one ex who tried his damnedest to erase me from his memory, and I must say, it hurt like hell.

Just sayin'.
