I just watched Gregg Bishops "The Other Side." I have to say, for a film with a $15,000 budget, it was pretty good. Deffinately worth three bucks to rent.

"Crooked little vein" by Warren Ellis. Possibly one of the weirdest, funniest books I've read in a while.

Adam and Steve. LOL a goth goes to 80's night and does coke for the first time..he looks like a edward scissor hands wannabe and meets a poison like rocker type and they fall in love. This opening scene is funny as hell.

Almost finished with The Glass Castle by Jeanette Maes. Entertaining autobiography, which is surprising because that's not a genre I usually enjoy. Next up is Blood Sucking Fiends by Christopher Moore. Hope it's as funny as his other books have been.

Reading - The Picture Of Dorian Gray

This may become my favorite novel.

Just started reading Blood Sucking Fiends. So far so good, but too early to tell how good it will truly be.

heheheh, I'm resurrecting an old thread... why on earth did this one die?!

anyways, I am currently reading The Mayfair Witches series, I'm on book two.

I just finished the latest book in the House of Night series, as well as the latest book in the Blue Blood Series

Just got done watching Orphan... and OMG!! wow... didn't see it coming, but I did figure it out before the wife did. lol I prefer the psychological thrillers, over any other kind, if it can be considered such. I didn't like some of the twists (I won't say what, for those that haven't seen it and want to). To say that I liked it means nothing, however, as I love films that most wouldn't even want even if they were free. lol

      About to head up to Roseville to return this rental and pick up my truck from the auto shop.  It is supposedly sporting a newly fabricated frame rail...I don't think they are referred to as "chassis" anymore as I see the confusion in shop owner's eyes when they ask me if I'm looking for "body work?".   But I do find it interesting that I told the owner that I worked direct with OEM parts and yet he still wrote me up an invoice with overpriced OEM parts from companies I used to host at the place I used to work for.  With that said, I'm expecting a stellar job for the amount I paid.   ...else, there will be some talk negotiations.

      ~~~~~ Definitely wishing you luck.  Do enjoy yourselves.   But I have to admit, the first thing that came to mind was does roadside assistance reach the desert? 😬
      ~~~~~ Yeah, it's like something happened to my metabolism this past Winter and when I came out of hibernation, that AARP Join Request started looking like something to check into.

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...
