LOL...which brings up an age old question...

Is possession really 9/10ths (read: inches) of the law?

Posted

according to that ... it was only 4.

Damn...I'm not sure that's quite worth the surgery.

I actually just read the article. I joked in passing about the headline...but was busy trading bonds when I saw it.

Its pretty unfortunate for the guy...

yeah really

I hope they meant 4 inches soft. I mean... I hope they didn't KNOW how big it was hard before they did the surgery and stuff. That's the sort of thing that would give me nightmares...

"Someone manually stimulate this braindead guy so I can find out how big he really gets before I have his dick sewn to my body."

Oh my god, people. Ew.

I suppose in all reality, I would reject it too......

Thats just really unfortunate for both him and his wife.

There had been no signs of the 10-centimetre (4-inch) organ being rejected by the recipient's body. But Hu said more cases and longer observation are needed to determine whether sexual sensation and function can be restored.

"The patient finally decided to give up the treatment because of the wife's psychological rejection, as well as the swollen shape of the transplanted penis" Hu added.

:shock::unsure:

but wouldnt swelling be part of the surgury? id expect that the swelling would go down over time.

it didnt seem like there was enough time to determine sexual function, according to the article. probably cause it was still swollen and recovering after the procedure.

So my question is ... does this dude now not have anything ... I mean, they had to take whatever, replace it with the donor one, then remove it. ....... What's left? I'd think the donor one had to be better than that?!?!

maybe he could become a guinea pig for a bionic weiner

Well c'mon guys, how would you feel about fucking your wife with another man's penis?

Okay...so this article is the one that finally made me blow a funny fuse. What living person is gonna go through the trouble of getting a brain dead guy's penis removed, go through the surgury of attaching it, and live with it on for four days and decide that he's going to go through the surgury AGAIN to remove it just because...his wife doesn't like it? I mean they transplant arms, legs, organs, and recently faces, what is so different about a dick? It's another body part. Who really says, "Hmmm...well my wife doesn't like it, so since she doesn't like it I guess I'll just be a no-cocked freak."? I mean come on, so yeah I understand it might have been a little creepy at first, him having sex with his wife with another man's schlong, but it's still sex, as opposed to being randy all the time and never being able to do much about it.

I'm sure a guy could get off without a penis, if he had to.

No, yeah somehow, and uhmm it might even involve entry in uhmm well right. That's why I put in there in the last sentence that he couldn't do much about it, instead of saying never. But really, it still couldn't be the same, or as good rather.

Heh, I doubt it would be with a prosthetic penis, either. They probably wouldn't be able to get the nerves functioning very well.

Dude, just when I thought this thread was as dead as the nerves of a man who's had his penis cut off...
