Google always does come up with some good practial jokes... either that or there is a bug on the satelite lens. Now, if there is a bug on the satellite lens then it is in space...dude there's a bug in space.

I don't think it was a bug in space, just think, the camera on that satalite can zoom out to get the entire planet earth in one photo. Given if there was an insect on the lense (that didn't explode from the vacuum outside of earth's atmosphere, or get incinerated by the extreme levels of radiation just beond earths atmosphere) being all the way zoomed out would be the only way the insect could come within focus, and it would cover the entire earth... Now since this camera was practically zoomed in to focus on a specific farm field, if the bug was on the lense you would have seen nothing but insect as the tunnel vision to get that close to germany's farm field would be way smaller than that of this incect, this is bizare... perhaps it was a picture taken from a low flying aircraft and it just happened to catch an insect in mid flight close enough to the camera to make it look monsterous in size, but just far enough away where it would be able to focus and not come in blurry... that's a mystery... but to go along with google's things, type this in.. "failure" and hit the i'm feeling lucky button.

the general theory that I have found outside of here is that the pics are all manually scanned in and there may have been a bug on the scanner. What party poopers.

I sooo prefer the idea of the space bug.
