As the topic says...I just want to thank everyone on this board for welcoming me...I have never felt so welcomed and...felt like I belong...so well 'till tonite at the karaoke...everyone was so warm hearted and open...I just wanted to thank you all and I hope we can all be good freinds....ok...that's it after school special over...now..SHUT UP AND GO DIE!!!!!! :laugh:

Glad you had a good reception. Sorry i was not there. I used to try really hard to be as friendly and "public" as i could. Taking new people around CC and other places and introducing them to like 20 people was sort of a part time job. =D

One of the reasons DGN was started was to help "make friends". =)

      About to head up to Roseville to return this rental and pick up my truck from the auto shop.  It is supposedly sporting a newly fabricated frame rail...I don't think they are referred to as "chassis" anymore as I see the confusion in shop owner's eyes when they ask me if I'm looking for "body work?".   But I do find it interesting that I told the owner that I worked direct with OEM parts and yet he still wrote me up an invoice with overpriced OEM parts from companies I used to host at the place I used to work for.  With that said, I'm expecting a stellar job for the amount I paid.   ...else, there will be some talk negotiations.

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...
