Recent Posting Problems

I've been told there were some server issues with our webhost and this was the cause of the recent problems posting. (related to the server time being out of sync with "real time")

Should be fixed as of this post.

I haven't had problems posting, but at the moment I am unable to mark Music discussion and Your Creations as read.

Hrmm.. i guess its possible that issue might have screwed some browsers cookies. Not sure if there is a fix for that other than to delete the cookies.

I have been able to post, however, the "View New Posts" option has been regularly malfunctioning since about noon. It's yet not working.

In addition, I've noticed the "View Today's Active Topics" option is not working, either.

I also noticed that some of the posts were comming in from the future! (like a post today at 8:30pm)

I tried, but, im guessing whatever got posted while server time was screwed up is now stamped with a "future" date...

And if you mark it as read... its just going to think "er.. yeah right it hasnt been posted yet... wont be posted until tommrow"

Probably would take some serious techy stuff to fix the particular posts with that problem, ill try but im guessing its just some scrambled dates that are going to screw things up until we pass the "future" date.

That is unless i want to hunt down the unix code for each inidvidual timestamp and edit each individual post manually on the database side... /suicide.

Everthing is working for me now, including mark posts as read and my favorite, "view new posts", is working properly also.

I have such a hard time keeping up with posts (and i also tend to dig up old posts so its not really relevant if i've read them or not recently) that i rarely use these features.

Have to rely on input from others to know when they are working. Glad they are =D
