Well everyone has their own opinion I guess. I hate them personally. I can't stand the lead singer's voice and it's just a bunch of emo crap in my opinion but hey.. Whatever floats your boat I guess. If I had it my way I'd snipe MCR with my mosin-nagant.

They are very unchallenging so of course they are going to be popular. But why listen to them when you can hear their forerunners (Smashing Pumpkins and The Cure) do it so much better?

they have some great lyrics. Their music is catchy and formulated like any popular band, but I too must agree that i dig on em here and there.

even though they are not the most original band out there, they have very well written lyircs. His style is far form the typical drivvil popualr bands normally use. Im very big on lyrics, and the lyrical content of a song can change my view of it often. Talented musicians with sub-par lyrics just feels like a waste. But, an average band with great words and a talented voice singing them can go leaps and bounds in my eyes.
