Homicidalheathen Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 Because an inquiring mind wants to know! (A guy asked me on myspace so I came here!) Me: Hellraiser 1-2-3 13 Ghosts In dreams (oh thats 5!)
phee Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 No way to make it into 5... The Shining Alien Blade Runner 2001 Clockwork Orange Night of the Living Dead Dawn of The Dead Susperia Primer ... Christ this list would be hundreds long...

kellygrrrrrl Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Horror:Exorcism of Emily Rose Dawn of the Dead 28 days later Hills Have Eyes Saw 1 but only saw 1....saw 2 blew, haven't seen the 3rd one yet. Original Texas Chainsaw Masecre Derailed was pretty intense Sci-Fi: Star Wars Hands down 5th Element Lord of the Rings The Matrix Trilogy
phee Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 non-mainstream Sci Fi choice. Stalker (Russian flick... awesome)
pharoh Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Man phee is right, there are too many good ones Hellraiser Alien 1&2 JAWS 1&2 Last house on the left Carrie Christine TCM Old and remake Dawn of the Dead old and remake Terrorvision (a classic) Hills have eyes Saw 1 & 2 Matrix Trilogy Starwars Lawnmower man 1&2 I don't think Clockwork is Sci Fi really, but damn good movie Blade runner good too
phee Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Let me think... Horror Deep Red Tenebre Phenomane Let Sleeping Corpses Lie Zombie Angel Heart (Amazing movie... not quiet horror) Begotten (again not horror but fucked up) Sci Fi Equalibrium Pi Dark City
Fierce Critter Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Too many to narrow. But for horror, I'm just a sentimental sucker for the Hammer flms of the 60's-70's, most featuring Christopher Lee and/or Peter Cushing. Hellraiser - the original The Exorcist - I just caught it uncensored, for the first time, on Canadian TV, and was struck by how scary it really is when uncensored. Again, my mind is blanking on others. For sci fi: the original Star Wars Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind I see a lot of sci fi and my mind is totally blanking out at the moment...
Rayne Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Equalibrium I have that on my Toshiba's hard drive ... I never burned it off ... well, that's not technically true. I burned one off for Froyn, maybe I did burn myself a copy ... *ponders* I've never watched it.
Head Wreck Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 metropolis (the efects were stunning for the early 70's let alone the 30's, and a good story to boot) the descent event horizon serenity ghost in the shell

Gothmama25 Posted November 5, 2006 Posted November 5, 2006 I don't consider these movies scary now but when I first saw them they scared the crap out of me. -Friday the 13th 1 & 2 -Nightmare on Elm Street -Childs Play(I saw it when I was 10 yrs old & it scared me so bad that I threw away my kid sister & my buddy dolls afterward cause they reminded me of chucky.) -Pet Cemetary -Any movie written by steven king is scary except "stand by me" -Village of the damned(I still can't sit through this one cause movies where the killers are lil kids really freak me out)
