PMS happens around your period and I don't think its as severe? I dunno really.

I know what you mean.

I get all anxiety-ish, and irritated easily.

Then boom.

I feel fine again.

Some months are worse than others in that respect.

If you KNOW it's PMS, at leaste you can prepare yourself mentally for it....

and know that you're OK.

It's not an excuse, but it certainly helps to know that it is normal to feel a little emotional cause hormones are a delicate balance.

Bi-Polar is a LOT more serious.

If you think your swings are out of the norm, perhaps therapy may help?

yea I mean the pms part really should only be like a week or so prior...the bipolar part...I know I'm in trouble when I have a spot of mania, sleeplessness or I want to stay in bed all day...that's never good.

I think both pms and bipolar can be assisted with proper diet and cut out caffeine, alcohol, excess sugar, red meats and other irritants at least during the time of the possible episode. Cut those things out altoghether to avoid the mood swings and episodes. Seriously it DOES help. I've lived it.
