Leave me the f*ck alone. I am not here at your beck and call. Whenever you want or need something why do you always call me? There are other people to bug for this. Don't call me and wake me up at 8 am because I was up till 4 am and I need some sleep. Not everyone is on your work schedule. You don't understand our situation? Well it's none of your frickin' buisness. Butt out! Stop trying to 'catch' us at something and go around asking questions because you won't like the answers anyway......

My brother in law is a good example of someone who thinks he knows everything and isn't afraid to stick his nose in business it doesn't belong in.

And when I finally told him I didn't appreciate his commentary on the way I live my life, it caused a rift between me & my sister that lasted a good 3+ years.

We are only slightly back on decent terms, but we'll never be the same.

And all because I finally told that asshole his opinion was neither necessary, nor welcome.

Everybody else in my family feels the same way about him. But I'm the only one who had the cajones to tell him off. Now I'm "punished" for it.

i remove people from my life who bring a negative energy, whther it's family or not. show people what you expect from them, and make it clear that if they can't respect your wishes, they will not be alowed in your life to bring you down. at that point, it's up to them. i surround myself with people who are a positive influence, so we can help, encourage, and inspire each other!
