Spam With Weird Poetry Type Stuff?

I'm getting these this week at work and home both. There are no attachments (perhaps stripped off by the antivirus software) but there are weird phrases in a sort of poetry form such as "We painted all the toilets black" and lots of nonsense phrases.

Anyone else seeing this? What are they? Is it just word salad to fool the antispam software into letting it through? I can't see any purpose to these things unless the viral attachment was lost or something.

Here's one example:

"Hi!

Oh, Mom, don’t make me go today.

and all the lockers white.

When I got on the school bus,

But now I am much happier

and a full-blown case of rabies.

I didn't wash the dishes.

I asked, "Why are you pinching me?

I give him all my homework,

Now there are roaches eating crumbs-

reached out and pinched my knee.

I watched TV instead-

that I am such a slob.

My friends all started laughing,

I think it's very mean!"

I did a lousy job.

I think it's very mean!"

I didn't clean the mess.

I watched TV instead-

No, I really don't see how.

There won't be school no more.

I didn't clean the mess.

and a broken leg with scabies,

A nice warm bubble bath!

My grades are so much better now,"

yep. virus. but dont worry

the actual virus was in an attached image that had the actual spam tex on it and that was stripped by most email antivirus programs you have your end or the server has

Also, I get random messages which might seem like they've come from a real person, but i'm 99.9% sure its just some sort of fishing expedition to get valid email addresses that have 'warm bodies' at the other end of them.
