I don't watch TV but there was one recent radio spot that drove me absolutely batshit. It was a campaign spot so thank all the gods it's gone now. It featured some old lady whining about how her husband died from Vioxx and Leslie Mortimer was mean to her. They ran it incessantly on the rock station up here... my mom said it was on TV in Detroit, too. By last week I wanted to tell the lady "I'm GLAD your husband croaked, and I wish someone would stuff a bottle of Vioxx down YOUR throat, you whiny old bat!!"

Oh, and every single ad ever done by Terry Hanks of Sundance Chevrolet. He's this really hyper dude who runs endless spots for his huge Chevy dealership/riding stable... all totally unscripted, they basically just hand him a mic & he rambles for 30 sec, usually with his daughter Tara throwing in her .02 throughout. It's pretty sad when someone can't pronounce the names of half the cars they sell. I guess I'm the only one who finds him annoying, tho, 'cos he sells shitloads of cars.
