Why Do Some People Act Like This?

Recently I have been talking to this guy and really thought that he liked me but I'm starting to think he likes this friend of mine more and dosen't really like me. I mean hes always asking about her and its starting to hurt me a little. I don't know what to do. All I do know is that they both should leave me out of this. I'm about to say screw it when it comes to hanging out at a place where they both will be. Can anybody help me figure out why some people act like this?

I think you should also talk to this guy and find out for sure what's going on with him. I don't think you are a mind reader. Ask him what his intentions are. If he is worth a damn, he will answer you clearly. Don't assume he wants your friend, find out for sure. You owe that to yourself. If he is askin about her to make you jealous, then that is bullshit and you don't need it.

or maybe he suspescts, but you have not made it clear, therefore its not that important to you.

The longer you keep in contact with someone you like that has interest in another the worse it will get. I know this from personal experience.

and honestly - why would you allow yourself to be attatched to someone who willfully makes decisions that he knows will cause you pain?
