It was amazing!

Raw and gritty... no cartoonish quality.... very brutal and and actually obeying the laws of physics...

Highly recommended.

No other Bond fans? I was looking for more reviews. I plan on seeing it either way.

james bond is my role model /hero. all the time in my life i get nervous clam up i don't take it well when people yell. i just clam up an feel like a little kid. or pretty girls make me nervous sometimes. i just think james bond. here that music in my head and get away with whatever i want. i give speaches to crowds of people or sell advertising space for a local news paper. or talk to intimidating cops as they interogate me i get all james bond. calm cocky personable like i got all the winning cards no matter whats happening. it works well. so no matter how i feel i act like im in a movie like it's a script an i'm invincable so it looks like i have no worries. to hide behind an image.

my girls hero is joe strummer. some guy from a band the clash i think. my guess is cause he would display his emotions openly at any time an blow shit way out of proportion acting a fool to get a point across an jus be like a primal force without restraint to express and embrace your feelings so dramatically.

so between the two of us we should find a balance. an learn. oh shit the pistons are on peace

I "acquired" a copy of it on DVD, watched it at home.

I think it was a great movie, just didn't seem to fit the James bond genre that many fans have gotten used to. There weren't any gadgets, very little wit. There didn't seem to be any real arch-plot, no bad-ass henchman with some special deformity.

I thought the end of the movie was pretty...lacking. I won't spoil it but I think the movie (boasting over 2 hours) was a bit too long, especially near the end when the plot kind of pooped out.

On a good note, the action was impressive, especially the opening "chase" scene. I think that considering Casino Royale was actually the first book written in the Bond series it kind of shows having it made into a movie now. I don't think Craig was all that bad (I actually like him as an actor), not sure though how he fit the "Bond" personae but like I said, if you pretend it's just an action movie you're ok. If you're one of those diehard "spy movie" fans I think you'll be disappointed.

I'm thinking I'm going to be moving to AZ, soon! Can't wait! I friggin' love it here! The heat doesn't bother me at all and the best part? NO SNOW!!! (S.N.O.W. - Shit  No One Wants)   Been staying in Bullhead City where the kids and grandkids live. Next, we're going to the wife's cousin's which is a ways North of Kingman, in the middle of nowhere, where we actually plan to move.   I really like Bullhead. It's a nice little town. Not overcrowded like Colorado Springs has become, at all. Very light traffic, reasonable prices on everything, low taxes, etc. The river offers a lot to do, with a lot of beaches and campgrounds all around it.   But yeah even though we've been over 110º-115º F just about every day,  I can handle it!  What I can't handle anymore, is snow and being cold. Just tired of it. Give me the desert over a blizzard any day!

Nope, we wasn't doing anything. I didn't want to go by myself.  I ended up doing karaoke here. It would of been a perfect day to go, though.
