Dubh Aingeal Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 It looks like some users of popular networking sites such as MySpace and Facebook have stooped so low as to actually pay real money for friends. These friends aren't even real believe it or not. You can apparently choose from a selection of 'models' to leave you customized comments to look like you have friends and are popular online.
glc Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 What a waste of money, I just pay my real friends to leave messages
Draco1958 Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 It helps those who don't have real friends to pay.
The Kanuck Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 That is just sad. What are they hopping to get out of it? People will see these "friends" and will comment them and be like "Hey he/she is cool, lets talk to them!" Would they not look at their friends and find out they were not real? Just messed up. What they should do is get out of their parents basement and maybe go outside once in a while. Try sunlight, it helps!
torn asunder Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Hey I needed the money... back off that's your excuse for everything!!!
pomba gira Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Is that real? If so it's the saddest thing I've seen in a while. Won't people start recognizing the fake friends before too long? Or at least wonder why some personalityless drudge has nothing but strippers & male models for pals?
tattlady672000 Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 Well....I think that thats completley freakin stupid!!! Paying $$ to make it seem like you are popular.....if these people have nothing better to do with their $$ & obviosly no real friends, they may as well pay for them,,, they must be real loosers!!!!!!Thats so sad!
Onyx Posted December 2, 2006 Posted December 2, 2006 The site's already down. I guess not enough people wanted fake friends, heh heh.
saechalyn Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 I wonder if he actually had permission from any of those models/strippers/whatever they were to use their photos. I'm guessing no.
creatureofthenyte Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 I wonder if he actually had permission from any of those models/strippers/whatever they were to use their photos. I'm guessing no. If he didn't, he's gonna have a few lawsuits to wear lol.
saechalyn Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 Site's back up and... As you are probably aware, the models have all been taken down. Without getting into the specifics, I will say that I was forced to take the pictures down due to legal issues. DING DING DING! I was right! Where's my prize?
Vampyro Posted December 3, 2006 Posted December 3, 2006 so that's how those ugly dorks keep getting comments from hot chicks...
