I Come Home To An Empty House, Now

I haven't been able to post this here until now, because it's been hard to do more than one thing at a time with this.

I had to euthanize my cat, Kiri, this Saturday past.

Home has never felt more cold and unwelcoming.

I'm sorry to hear that :( It's a kinder death for sure, but it's so very hard to have to do that.

I've lost a few cats myself in my lifetime and I still miss each and every one of them.

Sorry to hear. I totally hear ya on this though. January of 05, I had to have My cat, that I had for 21 years, put down. I know the feeling all too well

I was reading David Sedaris' book "Me Talk Pretty One Day" last night and there was a chapter about pets and their deaths. Which made me think about the two cats I lost this summer. And then I thought about you Chris. And then I thought about TA having lost his cat and my friend Rhana and...... too damn many of our beloved pets have past on this year.

Yeah I remember living in a house that had a few cats and kittens. Nothing more fun when a cat would jump on your stomach in the middle of the night or morning and rub its nose all over your face lol. I miss having little shock absorbers around the place.
