Shade Everdark Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 I haven't been able to post this here until now, because it's been hard to do more than one thing at a time with this. I had to euthanize my cat, Kiri, this Saturday past. Home has never felt more cold and unwelcoming.
HipsterDufus Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 I'm sorry to hear it. I love my cats. Even as much as they annoy me sometimes, I'd be heartbroken to see them go. I wish you the best.
Fierce Critter Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 So sad to hear this, Chris. Sometime, if you can, please let me know what happened. This is very surprising.
Dubh Aingeal Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 I am so sorry to hear that. Kiri was an absolutly adorable cat. She will be missed alot.

Brenda Starrr Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Remember, if you need anything...... Even if just to vent.
Onyx Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 I'm sorry to hear that :( It's a kinder death for sure, but it's so very hard to have to do that. I've lost a few cats myself in my lifetime and I still miss each and every one of them.
creatureofthenyte Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 I haven't been able to post this here until now, because it's been hard to do more than one thing at a time with this. I had to euthanize my cat, Kiri, this Saturday past. Home has never felt more cold and unwelcoming. Sorry to hear. I totally hear ya on this though. January of 05, I had to have My cat, that I had for 21 years, put down. I know the feeling all too well
Nienna Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 Kiri was a delicate, tiny little fur princess. I'll miss her even if she made sleeping impossible.
kellygrrrrrl Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 Aww.....I'm so sorry Chris....it's always so hard to let them go =( But, on the upside, with all that extra room, you'll be able to adopt a little sweet baby kitty that needs a good loving home!???
TygerLili Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 I'm so sorry to hear this! :tear I know she'll be missed. Call me if you need anything.
bean Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 That was a difficult decision to make, I'm sure. I'm sorry for your loss. :tear
Morbid Side Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 Sorry to hear about this, I had to lay three animals down all in a span of a year so I know how you must be feeling.
Homicidalheathen Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 I love a man who loves his kitties. My heart goes out to you.
Msterbeau Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 I was reading David Sedaris' book "Me Talk Pretty One Day" last night and there was a chapter about pets and their deaths. Which made me think about the two cats I lost this summer. And then I thought about you Chris. And then I thought about TA having lost his cat and my friend Rhana and...... too damn many of our beloved pets have past on this year.
Reaper Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Yeah I remember living in a house that had a few cats and kittens. Nothing more fun when a cat would jump on your stomach in the middle of the night or morning and rub its nose all over your face lol. I miss having little shock absorbers around the place.
