Fierce Critter Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 ...but this one struck me. From the Deminsky & Doyle show today: DONATIONS FOR COLLIN ADAMS: Deminski & Doyle interviewed Lee Adams. Lee and her family are selling everything they own so they can relocate to Florida to benefit their ailing son Collin. He suffers from a chromosome deletion disorder that would be improved in a warmer climate. If you would like to make a donation to this family, please visit any Chase Bank branch and make a donation to the Collin Adams Fund (account number 723835427). Thank you for supporting this family in need. The Flint Journal article that spurred D&D's interest & show segment I'm going to track down a Chase in the area and give. It's not going to be much. But the mother on the show today stressed that even a dollar is something. She stressed the need to have the account number when visiting a Chase to donate. FYI. I don't care if you give or not, really. But I wanted to bring this to the attention of people here.
Msterbeau Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 I adapted a family through church so the kids would get something for Christmas this year. I have no more to give for right now...

Fierce Critter Posted December 8, 2006 Author Posted December 8, 2006 Nobody has to explain to me why they can't or won't give. I don't really care. Usually I don't give a penny to charities. So I'm no one to judge. Just wanted to let people know about this in case they're looking for a place to drop a buck or two. (And I am maybe feeling a bit more charitable than ever this year. Gave the veterans ringing the bell outside the post office a bunch of change today, and I almost never do that. I find a Chase, it's gonna be just a dollar or two.)
